Heather Faber is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a bachelor’s in biology with a minor in psychology. After graduating in 2005, she worked as a mental health case manager implementing person centered plans with adult and adolescent clients. In 2007 she enrolled full time in the Master’s of Social Work (Concentration in Mental Health and Substance Abuse) program at Fayetteville State University. At this time she began to work with children with autism at The Autism Society of North Carolina. She assisted children in learning functional language, socialization, and life skills allowing them to become more independent.  In May of 2009, Heather will graduate with a Master’s in Social Work and begin to pursue her LCSW.   She will also continue her education by completing the coursework required to receive her BCBA certification.
