Dr. Scanlon has a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. She has over 20 years of experience in the counseling field both as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and as a Certified School Counselor. She has worked in high schools, community counseling agencies, a college counseling center, and in her own private practice. In addition, Dr. Scanlon is an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). She is a Past President of the Pennsylvania Counseling Association (PCA), a Past Chair of the North Atlantic Region (NAR) of the American Counseling Association (ACA), and a current member of the American Counseling Association Ethics Committee.
