Anna Carlini, DMSc, MPA, PA-C is an Associate Professor, Chair of the Department of Physician Assistant Studies, and Program Director for the 麻豆精品 Physician Assistant Program. She has been involved in physician assistant education since 2014 and has extensive experience in didactic and clinical education, curriculum development, assessment, student progression, and academic leadership. Prior to her current role, Dr. Carlini served as an Assistant Professor and Academic Coordinator for the 麻豆精品 Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program and Clinical Instructor for Duquesne University Physician Assistant Program. She also served as an adjunct faculty member for 麻豆精品鈥檚 Doctor of Physical Therapy Program.  

Dr. Carlini has extensive experience in continuing medical education for advanced practice providers, including authoring and delivering CME programs. She currently serves as an educator and consultant with ThriveAP, where she develops and delivers CME content for advanced practice providers. Through these roles, she has contributed to the continuing professional development of practicing clinicians and has developed expertise in translating evidence-based clinical knowledge into engaging, clinically relevant educational programs. 

Dr. Carlini brings a diverse clinical background to her academic career, with experience in gastroenterology, family medicine, and military medicine. She served as a Physician Assistant within military medical settings, including Womack Army Medical Center and Raymond W. Bliss Army Medical Center. Her clinical experiences have contributed to her interests in clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, and preparing future physician assistants to provide high-quality patient care.
