Scholarships and awards are renewable for a maximum of eight semesters (fall and spring) of undergraduate education, pending Satisfactory Academic Progress. Scholarships and awards cannot be applied toward summer coursework, nor can they be prorated to accommodate any of Carlow鈥檚 accelerated degree programs. They are only available to those enrolled full time.

Merit scholarships are awarded to traditional first-year undergraduate students (full time) based on high school academic performance. Carlow will use the GPA listed on your official high school transcript. In cases where GPAs on both scales are provided by the school (traditional 4.0 scale and 100-point scale), the one that corresponds to the higher scholarship will be used. For schools on a nontraditional scale, Carlow will recalculate the GPA.

GPAs listed represent the weighted, cumulative high school GPA at the end of junior year. Scholarships will not be reevaluated based on grades earned in the senior year.

The scholarships listed below are for students entering Carlow in the 2026-27 academic year.
