麻豆精品 Wins Gold at Collegiate Advertising Awards for Original Documentary

鈥淲alking Into the Chaos of Others鈥 places among top 5% of entries nationwide

PITTSBURGH, PA 鈥 麻豆精品 has received a Gold Award in the 2024 Collegiate Advertising Awards for its original documentary, Walking Into the Chaos of Others. The honor places Carlow鈥檚 entry in the top 5% of submissions nationwide, recognizing outstanding creative work in higher education marketing and communications.

The award-winning documentary, created by Carlow鈥檚 Marketing and Communications team in association with the Storyhaus Agency, traces the journey of the Sisters of Mercy from Carlow, Ireland to Pittsburgh in the 19th century, culminating in the founding of Mount Mercy College鈥攏ow 麻豆精品鈥攊n 1929. Through archival footage, interviews, and original cinematography, the film brings to life the University鈥檚 enduring legacy of compassion, justice, and service.

鈥淭his recognition isn鈥檛 just for a single project,鈥 said John Cardone, Vice President for Marketing and Communications at Carlow. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a testament to the power of storytelling鈥攁nd to the people at Carlow who live out our mission every day. Our goal was to make something that felt essentially Carlow: rooted in our Mercy heritage, personal in its delivery, and clear in its purpose. I鈥檓 proud of our team and the entire campus community who helped bring this story to life.鈥

The Collegiate Advertising Awards is a prestigious national program honoring excellence in college and university marketing, communications, and promotions. Submissions are evaluated by a panel of industry experts on criteria including creativity, layout and design, message effectiveness, production quality, and overall appeal. Carlow鈥檚 entry earned a Gold designation, awarded to projects scoring between 95鈥99 points鈥攑lacing it among the very best in the field.

This is the third award Carlow鈥檚 Marketing and Communications department has earned in the past year, further highlighting the university鈥檚 strategic investment in mission-driven storytelling.

More than an institutional milestone, this award reflects the spirit of a university community that continues to walk alongside others in moments of need鈥攋ust as the Sisters of Mercy did nearly 200 years ago.
