Pennsylvania Lt. Governor Austin Davis to Deliver 2025 Commencement Address at 麻豆精品

PITTSBURGH, PA 鈥 麻豆精品 is proud to announce that Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis will serve as the keynote speaker for its 2025 Commencement ceremony, to be held on Saturday, May 10, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh.

Davis, who made history as the first Black lieutenant governor of Pennsylvania and the youngest serving lieutenant governor in the country, will address students from Carlow鈥檚 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs during the University鈥檚 95th Commencement exercises.

Born and raised in McKeesport, Lt. Governor Davis has built a career grounded in public service and community engagement. He previously represented the Mon Valley in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives before assuming statewide office in January 2023. His journey from local activism to a leadership role in state government reflects a commitment to expanding opportunity and improving quality of life for families across the Commonwealth.

Throughout his career, Davis has focused on supporting working families, making our communities safer and creating ladders of opportunity for every Pennsylvanian. His address is expected to speak to the values of perseverance, purpose, and service鈥攃ore themes for Carlow鈥檚 Class of 2025.
